Thom Sweeney is a British luxury menswear brand specialising in Bespoke, Made to Measure and Ready-to-Wear clothing. With stores in London, New York, Los Angeles and Miami, we are known for combining exceptional tailoring with a highly personal approach to client service.

As we continue to grow our presence in South Florida, we are looking for an entrepreneurial and well-connected individual to help expand our client base across the region.

The Role

This is not a traditional retail sales role.

We are looking for a natural relationship builder whose primary focus will be developing new business opportunities and introducing high-value clients to Thom Sweeney.

The successful candidate will spend a significant portion of their time outside the store, networking, attending events, building partnerships and cultivating relationships with individuals who align with the Thom Sweeney client profile.

This role would suit someone with an existing network in Miami and a proven ability to generate business through personal relationships.

Experience in luxury menswear is advantageous but not essential. We are equally interested in candidates from luxury watches, automotive, hospitality, private banking, real estate, private aviation, members' clubs, concierge services or other premium lifestyle sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Business Development

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to introduce new customers to Thom Sweeney.
  • Generate appointments for Bespoke, Made to Measure and Ready-to-Wear services.
  • Develop relationships with high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, executives, athletes and other affluent client groups.
  • Represent Thom Sweeney at industry events, social gatherings and networking opportunities.
  • Maintain an active presence within the Miami luxury community.

Partnership Development

  • Build relationships with complementary luxury businesses including:
  • Private clubs
  • Luxury hotels
  • Fine watch retailers
  • Luxury automotive brands
  • Private aviation companies
  • Wealth management firms
  • Concierge services
  • Luxury residential developments
  • Create partnership opportunities that drive client introductions and events.

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop long-term relationships with clients and act as a trusted ambassador for the brand.
  • Coordinate appointments and introductions with the Miami store team.
  • Ensure every new client receives an exceptional Thom Sweeney experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and opportunities.

Events & Community Engagement

  • Assist in organising client events, trunk shows and networking initiatives.
  • Attend relevant social and business events throughout South Florida.
  • Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness within key local communities.

Candidate ProfileEssential

  • Proven track record of generating business through personal relationships.
  • Highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing their own schedule.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for luxury products and services.

Desirable

  • Experience within luxury retail, hospitality, watches, automotive, private banking, real estate, private aviation or similar industries.
  • Existing book of high-net-worth clients.
  • Understanding of bespoke tailoring or luxury menswear.
  • Experience hosting events or managing client relationships.
