We’re looking for an outgoing, detail-oriented weekend Sales Assistant & Chocolate Production Intern to join our small-but-mighty artisan chocolate business in the Hudson Valley. This is a seasonal, part-time role that blends hands-on chocolate production training with market and festival sales.
You’ll be the friendly face at our farm market tent — offering samples, chatting about our process, sourcing, tasting notes, and helping people discover their new favorite chocolate. In quieter moments, you’ll learn the craft: tempering chocolate, decorating bars, making filled confections, and prepping cacao drinks.
What you’ll do:
- Engage customers with product knowledge and samples
- Set up and break down market booths and festival tents (waking up early and some moderate lifting)
- Prepare and serve seasonal cacao beverages
- Restock products biweekly from our Putnam Valley base
- Learn craft chocolate-making techniques from a chocolatier
