Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Amman. The Salesperson will actively engage with guests, present menu items and offers, and provide clear and accurate information about products, promotions, and prices. Responsibilities include greeting guests, understanding their needs, recommending suitable items, and upselling where appropriate to enhance their dining experience. The role involves handling customer inquiries, managing orders accurately, coordinating with the service and kitchen teams, and ensuring a smooth guest journey from first contact to payment. The Salesperson will also support maintaining a clean, organized front-of-house environment, follow restaurant policies and hygiene standards, and contribute to meeting daily and monthly sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Proven customer service and basic sales skills, with the ability to build rapport and handle guest requests professionally.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear spoken English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
  • Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills, with familiarity in using POS systems or willingness to learn.
  • Professional appearance, reliability, and a positive attitude, with a commitment to teamwork and respectful collaboration.
  • Previous experience in restaurants, cafes, or hospitality sales is preferred but not required; training can be provided.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
