Overview
Full-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pawnbroker) position in pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store team to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The role involves working with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
The position offers hourly wage plus commission based on productivity.
Pay and Commission
Hourly pay: $11.00 to $14.00 per hour. Commission is earned on transactions; the retail associates can earn up to 8% commission, which may average an additional amount on top of hourly pay.

Position Summary
We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and assists customers with lending and retail transactions, and collaborates with staff to provide a positive customer experience. The role involves engaging with customers and handling inquiries and problem resolution across jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in appropriate locations), and other merchandise.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and offer financial solutions.
- Perform non-management open/close procedures.
- Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and merchandise displayed.
- Process sales and loan transactions per policies and regulatory requirements.
- Handle cash and negotiable items following policies and procedures.
- Answer incoming calls per company standards.
- Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers; contribute to a positive work environment.
- Complete required training and perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform duties for extended periods; standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- Willingness to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas as needed.
- Minimum Age: 18 years;
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience. - Strong desire to serve customers and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; basic math skills; cash handling experience preferred.
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; computer literate; able to operate POS systems.
