About the role
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business development to achieve the sales objectives across the assigned countries in the region through effective distributor network, user demand generation. The role includes building and developing a high-performing local team and ensuring operational excellence to meet business objectives.
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for…
1. Sales Management, Business Development to drive differential growth
- Achieving overall regional sales targets while ensuring growth of focused products and implementing initiatives to gain market share.
2. Drive Business Development to generate demand from users
- Co-creating and executing plans for business development initiatives through demand generation modules for key products.
3. Competition Fighting & Counteraction
- Assessing competition in our key categories and implementing strategies to counter them with requisite plans
4. Pricing Management & Margin Delivery
- Achieving targeted margin for focused products through mix improvement and implementing requisite pricing actions
5. Distributor/Importer Management
- Developing suitable distributors for business delivery and manage relationships while conducting appropriate performance reviews.
6. Drive Commercial Hygiene
- Managing receivables to ensure timely collections while minimizing financial exposure through appropriate payment terms
What you already have…
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business.
- Experience: 10-12 years in Sales & business development roles, including 3-4 years in regional management.
- Languages: English and French.
- Industry Preference: Paint, Adhesives, Hardware, Cement, Construction Chemicals.
